Canada Interior Mission
Psalm 72:8 - "His Dominion Shall be from Sea to Sea"
Psalm 72:8 - "His Dominion Shall be from Sea to Sea"
The scripture from Psalm 72:8, "His Dominion Shall be from Sea to Sea", underpins the divinely inspired purpose of the Canada Interior Mission (CIM). This verse exemplifies the expansive dominion of God’s Kingdom, which the mission seeks to reverberate across the landscapes of Canada. The core endeavor of CIM is to transition from human-led religious practices to a divine-led church life where Jesus Christ is acknowledged as the supreme Head. This transition illuminates a path of holiness, Divine Order, and truthful worship, celebrating the reign of Jesus Christ over His church and His people.
The mission stands as a vanguard in reigniting the profound message of God’s Kingdom throughout Canada, embodying the essence of Psalm 72:8. Through biblical teachings and righteous living, CIM aims to enhance awareness and adherence to the kingdom’s principles (Hebrews 4:12).
Hebrews 4:12 (NIV): "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."
Engaging in the nurturing of a living church epitomizing holiness and divine order as instructed in 1 Peter 1:15-16 and 1 Corinthians 14:33.
1 Peter 1:15-16 (NIV): "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'"
1 Corinthians 14:33 (NIV): "For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people."
Encouraging a culture of worship centered in Spirit and Truth as elucidated by Jesus in John 4:24.
John 4:24 (NIV): "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
Inspiring individuals to transcend worldly entanglements and live solely for the glory of God as depicted in 1 Corinthians 10:31.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV): "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
Promoting the acknowledgement of Jesus Christ as the supreme Head over His church and His people, aligning with the divine order portrayed in Colossians 1:18. Inspiring the Body of Christ to break away from religion and religious systems of men to a system that revolves around Christ where He alone is head and center.
Colossians 1:18 (NIV): "And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy."
Creating avenues for believers to assume their divine roles in the Body of Christ, engaging in discipleship for the glory of God, resonating with the values shared in Ephesians 4:11-16.
Ephesians 4:11-16 (NIV): "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."
Emulating the love, compassion, and righteousness of God’s Kingdom within the Canadian communities, aligning with the principles of service delineated in Matthew 25:34-40.
Matthew 25:34-40 (NIV): "Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me...’"
Over the course of two spiritually charged mission trips in August and September 2023, we embarked on spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom to Halifax and the Maritime provinces of Canada.
Our first 10-day trip in August marked the official planting of a living Kingdom Church, with 6 dedicated souls committing to weekly Sunday gatherings. Through divine guidance, we traveled to significant locations, prayed, and anointed, disannulling ancient covenants and contending with spiritual principalities. We engaged with communities like North Preston, Canada's largest Black community, where doors opened for future fellowship. The mission culminated in establishing the Halifax church, fulfilling God's promise from years prior.
In September, we returned for a 3-day weekend teaching to build up and strengthen the newly birthed fellowship. Through powerful messages, we admonished the saints onto maturity, holiness, spiritual warfare, and maintaining Christian community. The saints were enriched and took responsibility to lead weekly gatherings in a rented venue.
We praise God for establishing this spiritual light in Halifax through faith. By His grace, we will continue monthly visits to teach and mature these believers into Christ's image. We covet your prayers and support as we labor in this promising mission field. To God be all glory and honor forever!
