Résumé

Approximately three years earlier the Lord began to put a burden on the heart to take the Gospel of the Kingdom to the Maritime regions of Canada. Brother Ekaba bore immediate witness, and in mid-July 2023 we decided to embark by faith. The Lord indicated it to be an apostolic and evangelistic mission.

Our mission was clear: to annul ancient covenants over the lands of Canada and establish a spiritual presence in the region. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we were instructed to pour anointing oil into the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of St. Lawrence, symbolising the breaking of old ties. We travelled to Charlottetown, Fredericton and the North Preston community, the largest Black community in Canada.

The climax was the establishment of a living Kingdom church in Halifax. Our gathering at the Courtyard by Marriott in Dartmouth on 19 August marked the official planting of the church, with six dedicated souls pledging their commitment. A second trip in September strengthened the young flock.

“Mission accomplished, as a living Kingdom Church has been planted in Nova Scotia in accordance with the Word of the LORD. To the praise and glory of God. Amen!”

Jour après jour

14 jours

  1. Jour 112 août 2023 · Halifax

    Arriving Halifax through adversity

Chidera arrived with his family after much adversity. Satan tried to hinder us as we missed our flight, but the Lord made a way and we arrived at Halifax almost at midnight on the 13th, originally due at noon on the 12th.

  2. Jour 213 août 2023 · HalifaxCombat et révélation

The word about the eastern gates

The morning began with the Holy Spirit speaking about the ancient princes of the land and the covenants made with the ocean deities. Clear instructions were given to pour anointing oil in the Atlantic Ocean and the St. Lawrence, replacing the libation poured by the early ruling families. Chidera met with Sister Natalie and gave the first Sunday sermon on building the House of the Lord.

The word received through brother Ekaba spoke of the Gulf of St. Lawrence as the eastern gate to the spiritual kingdom of Canada, of covenants made at the gates by ruling powers and families, and of the Lord's instruction: “Annul by fire.”

  3. Jour 314 août 2023 · Port Borden → CharlottetownCombat et révélation

Prince Edward Island: anointing the Gulf of St. Lawrence

Brother Ekaba arrived in the morning after also missing a flight. In the afternoon we set our faces toward Prince Edward Island on the strength of the word: “Anoint the oceans of the eastern gates and contend with the princes of the land.” At Port Borden around 6 PM we made declarations and anointed the Gulf of St. Lawrence with holy anointing oil, first casting anointed stones into the water, then finding a wharf for direct contact. We surveyed and prayed over Charlottetown and returned past midnight.

  4. Jour 415 août 2023 · Halifax

    Reflection and fellowship

A day indoors to reflect and plan. In the evening a powerful time of fellowship with Sister Natalie, who resolved to lend herself solely to the work of the Kingdom in Nova Scotia and connected us with a friend hungry for the Lord.

  5. Jour 516 août 2023 · Fredericton

    Fredericton

We set off at 5 AM for Fredericton, the capital of New Brunswick. At City Hall we anointed the place and made declarations to take over the city for Christ, scanned the city, and returned to Halifax for fellowship and counsel with Sister Natalie.

  6. Jour 617 août 2023 · North PrestonRendez-vous divin

    North Preston

From Dalhousie University we went to North Preston, the largest Black community in Canada, whose people came as escaped slaves and are called the African Aboriginals. At the community centre a 74-year-old elder welcomed us and agreed to see us again the next day. That evening we ministered to Sister Natalie and a sister from Saudi Arabia and Congo on the Kingdom message and the mystery of the Body of Christ. She said: “Halifax needs this message.”

  7. Jour 718 août 2023 · New Harbour → North PrestonCombat et révélationÉglise implantée

Open doors in North Preston, and the church is planted

We returned to North Preston and shared the Gospel of the Kingdom, true worship, building the Body of Christ and a call to holiness. The elder said the community would love to hear our message and would invite us into their houses and cook for us, and told us of East Preston and Cherry Brook.

That evening we ministered to a brother from the Bahamas, an old friend; the Holy Spirit led a bold approach, he was pierced in the heart, and at this point we saw that the church in Halifax had officially been planted.

Then a one-hour journey to New Harbour for direct access to the ocean, in heavy rain in the dead of night. The waves were high and boisterous, the wind strong, and the God of all power gave us boldness fiercer than lions. We anointed the eastern gates of Nova Scotia, opening them to the Gospel of the Kingdom.

  8. Jour 819 août 2023 · DartmouthÉglise implantée

    The gathering in Dartmouth

At the Courtyard by Marriott in Dartmouth eight souls gathered. Brother Ekaba delivered the first charge, “Babylon is Fallen”, received spontaneously seconds before he stood; the message hit the hearts of the people. Brother Chidera then addressed the many questions and ministered on pressing on to the prize of the high calling, the hope of the believer, God's pattern church and overcoming faith.

The brethren committed to meet every Sunday at noon. One sister said: “I have been looking for a church until today.” The church in Halifax was officially planted with six souls, in accordance with the word of three years earlier: “Take this Gospel of the Kingdom to the Maritimes and build me a faithful church that I may dwell in.”

  9. Jour 920 août 2023 · HalifaxÉglise implantée

    The first Sunday service

The first Sunday service, with almost all the harvested souls present. Brother Chidera ministered on the believer's hope, a life beyond the veil, and pressing on for the crown of righteousness. We blessed the church and covered them under the eternal banner. A living Kingdom church has been planted in Nova Scotia.

  10. Jour 1021 août 2023 · Winnipeg

    Departing

We departed for Winnipeg and Calgary and arrived safely, to the praise and glory of God.

  11. Jour 1122 septembre 2023 · Halifax

Second trip: Friday meeting and street evangelism

Brother Ekaba arrived in the morning and brother Chidera in the afternoon. Two hundred fliers about the fellowship were printed. Brother Chidera held the Friday evening meeting while brother Ekaba evangelised on the streets. After the meeting, one of the brethren, convicted by the messages over time, owned up to a difficult challenge and pleaded for help; the Lord gave great wisdom.

  12. Jour 1223 septembre 2023 · Halifax

Saturday: holiness and the altar of fellowship

Brother Ekaba ministered on holiness and the endurance that comes from the joy of the Lord; the power of God filled the room. In the afternoon we ministered on maintaining the altar of our fellowship together, then had dinner with the brethren.

  13. Jour 1324 septembre 2023 · HalifaxÉglise implantée

Sunday: spiritual warfare, and leaders raised

Brother Chidera ministered on spiritual warfare. The brethren asked for more teaching meetings, and we encouraged them to dig deeper into the Word. We met with two sisters we perceived to carry a leadership grace and encouraged them to take responsibility for the Father's house, and to find and book a hall where the fellowship will meet every Sunday.

  14. Jour 1425 septembre 2023 · Halifax

    Departing, and the follow-up plan

Brother Ekaba departed about 3 AM for Calgary and brother Chidera at 2 PM for Winnipeg. Seeing this candlestick is yet young and tender, we committed to routine monthly visits to Halifax for weekend teaching to build and strengthen the flock.
