Summary

From 6 to 15 November 2025 we travelled to Spain, Gibraltar and Andorra to share the Kingdom message with the people of Baza and the surrounding areas, to encourage and strengthen local believers, to connect with the house church in Baza, and to contend spiritually against ancient covenants and principalities over the region.

Our journey was met with divine favour as the Lord caused us to be warmly received by people we had never met and who spoke a different tongue. Communication was hard, but the God who orchestrated Babel created a reverse for us. Satan tried to hinder us through a missed flight, luggage lost in Casablanca and health challenges at home, but we were victorious in all.

The highlight was the establishment of a connection with the kingdom-minded community in Baza and Caniles and a deathblow to the principalities of the region, including the spirits of the caves and the canyons and the princes of the Rock of Gibraltar. We left behind an encouraged and rejuvenated kingdom community that has become a light tower in the region.

“We give all praise and glory to God for guiding us through this mission.”

Day by day

9 days

  1. Day 1November 6, 2025 · Calgary → Winnipeg → Madrid

Departing Canada, and the journey's challenges

Ekaba departed from Calgary and Chidera from Winnipeg, scheduled to arrive in Madrid on the morning of 7 November and head to Baza the same day. Chidera's flight from Winnipeg was delayed, he missed his connection in Montréal, and his luggage was lost in Casablanca, leaving him for three days with nothing but the clothes he set out in. We spent an unplanned night in Madrid.

  2. Day 3November 8, 2025 · Caniles → BazaWarfare and revelation

Madrid to Baza: the cave house and the spirits of the caves

After picking up a few items for Chidera in Madrid we drove seven and a half hours to Baza. Brother Juan, a key pillar of the church, welcomed us and took us to our lodging: a cueva casa, a cave house in Caniles, five minutes from Baza. For hundreds of years the people of the region have broken into the rock of the mountains to make houses, and the church gave us one free of charge for the whole visit.

That evening we met David and Patricia, a couple who spoke some English and became key interpreters. Our first roundtable, on what the Lord is doing at this time, made clear that our visit was part of His plan.

Back at the cave house, Chidera encountered in a trance a spirit of death dressed in black, oozing communications of death and horror, and heard in his spirit: “The spirits of the caves and the canyons.” The Lord said not to be carried away by the beauty of the place, because underneath it is a high level of satanic activity. Almost at the same time Ekaba dreamed he was in a cave deep under the earth watching demonic creatures at their rituals. We contended all night, translating the region to the authorities of height, light and life. We had no sleep.

  3. Day 4November 9, 2025 · BazaPartnershipWarfare and revelation

Sunday in the cave church, and meeting Antonio

Stepping out of the cave house in the morning we found a fresh pentagram drawn on the ground in a reddish substance resembling blood, more wet than dry, drawn only hours earlier while we had been praying over the land. We prayed over the symbol and continued in the spirit of warfare.

The church meets in a cave house. The meeting was glorious, filled with high worship and expressions of the Holy Spirit. Chidera ministered on the priestly function and the five priestly functions the church must be involved in to see a takeover of righteousness. Ekaba ministered on “Within my soul, Christ is bringing forth a life that conquers death”, from Genesis 3:15: the bruising of the heel is a temporal injury, the crushing of the serpent's head a mortal one.

We were deeply encouraged to find a people worshipping in a simple form, void of man's structures, powered by the Holy Spirit. They had no set man over them, no pastor or apostle by title, but many pastors and apostles by grace, expressed in selfless service, everyone looking to Jesus as Head. After the service we met Antonio, another major pillar of the work, who invited us to lunch. With little shared language we relied on technology, gesture and the help of the Holy Spirit.

  4. Day 5November 10, 2025 · Caniles → GibraltarWarfare and revelationPartnership

The Rock of Gibraltar, and a dinner that became a love feast

We had an indication to pray over Gibraltar, a four-hour drive. The Rock was called by the ancient world “The End of the World” and mythically the Pillars of Hercules, and it carries deep occultic symbolism promoting rebellion against God and blindness to the Gospel. Like the man of God who went from Judah to Bethel to speak against the altar, we went directly to the Rock and made declarations over it, trusting that the strong man over the region had been bound.

The trip meant asking a couple from the church to move a lunch invitation to dinner. When we returned, the whole church had been invited and the dinner became a love feast with spontaneous worship. Then the brethren fell into a deep, passionate conversation in Spanish. Using our phones to follow it, we learned they were saying that God had brought these young men, half their age, to challenge them and tell them what they should be doing in this hour, and that they carried a burden for the young people of the region.

We shared the revelations about the land and encouraged them to devote themselves to corporate prayer for the freedom of the land and of their children. Everyone left filled with joy and strength.

  5. Day 6November 11, 2025 · BazaPartnership

    Various ministrations

Breakfast with brethren, then a brother took us to see new graffiti under a bridge in town: indications of the rise of rebel communities in a hitherto peaceful town, and another call to stand in prayer over Baza and Caniles. We visited the family who provided the cave house, had lunch and ministry with David and Patricia, and prayed that their work, now spanning more than a decade, continue to prosper.

We then met a missionary pastor in town who carried many grievances from resistance to the gospel in Baza. We encouraged him not to grow weary, spoke of capturing the young people, and addressed the spirit of in-fighting among churches. The day ended at the church's prayer meeting, which served as our farewell. We charged them to be strong in the Lord and promised to return.

  6. Day 7November 12, 2025 · Caniles → BarcelonaPartnership

Departing Baza: partnership with Juan and Antonio

Before leaving we requested an audience with Juan and Antonio. Four men around a table with no interpreter, translating over text on our phones, and the Lord granted us help. We committed to return on several occasions to strengthen the church in the kingdom message, in strategies for taking the land for Jesus Christ, and in reaching the community and the young people. Juan and Antonio accepted our partnership in the gospel.

We then had breakfast with sister Lisca, a widow of about five years, strong in the faith and our chief interpreter, and committed her into the hand of the Lord. It is remarkable that before this trip we did not know any of these precious people. Then seven and a half hours to Barcelona, where we prayed for direction, having no set plan.

  7. Day 8November 13, 2025 · Barcelona

    Barcelona

A day of rest and work commitments from Canada, strengthening the connections made and attending to requests from the brethren in Baza. The Lord directed us to Andorra, to pray and take charge over that land, declaring God's word over every nook and cranny of it.

  8. Day 9November 14, 2025 · Barcelona → Andorra la Vella

Prayer drive through Barcelona, and Andorra la Vella

A prayer drive through Barcelona, a prime city of Spain alongside Madrid, then three hours to Andorra la Vella, arriving after dark. We crossed the border and spent time in prayer and prophetic declaration over the capital and the whole nation of Andorra. Then we drove through the night toward Madrid, seven hours through the mountains with steep bends and low cloud, and God granted safe passage.

  9. Day 10November 15, 2025 · Madrid

    Departing to Canada

We arrived in Madrid past 3 AM and caught our flights, Ekaba to Calgary and Chidera to Winnipeg, and found our families in good health. We foresee many more expeditions to Baza, to Spain, and to the whole Mediterranean region. God is causing the watchmen to see eye to eye; He is restoring the tabernacle of David that is fallen.
