Kingdom Word Missions was formerly known as Canada Interior Mission.
It began in 2020, when the Lord laid a burden on our hearts to take the Gospel of the Kingdom to the Maritime regions of Canada. In August 2023 we went on our first mission to the Maritimes. The eastern gates were anointed, and on 19 August the Halifax Christian Fellowship was planted with six souls. On 30 September 2023 the Board adopted the Constitution and Bylaws of Canada Interior Mission, inspired by Psalm 72:8:
“He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.” Psalm 72:8
We began from sea to sea, and the Lord soon led us toward the ends of the earth. In August 2025 He took us through eleven nations and twenty cities in thirty days, and the Fellowship of Christ Church was planted in Plymouth. In November 2025 He opened Spain to us: Baza, Gibraltar, Barcelona and Andorra, and a partnership in the gospel with the Church in Baza. In 2026 we returned to Halifax and Bamburgh, went on to Exeter, Cyprus and Turkey, and now Derby.
The work God had given us had outgrown the name. By the leading of the Holy Spirit, and as He has guided us step by step, we have taken on a new identity. From 13 October 2026, we are Kingdom Word Missions. We do this to the praise and glory of God.
The name holds our calling. We preach the gospel of the Kingdom, as a witness unto all nations (Matthew 24:14). We sow the Word, for “the seed is the word of God” (Luke 8:11). And we are sent on missions, unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
We serve the same Lord, hold the same faith and keep the same Constitution, under a new name.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14
To God be all glory and honour forever
