A candlestick in Plymouth

Nobody on the team had been to Plymouth or knew anyone there. A room was booked by faith, and after two meetings two young men took ownership of the work.

When the burden for the United Kingdom came, God pointed to Plymouth. The team booked a room by faith, made a video advertisement and pushed it across the city. On the day, Englishmen came, including one of South American origin. Worship began and the Spirit fell heavily.

One man explained why he had come. In a dream he had seen a light shining from the top of a high tower and was told to go toward it. Not long after, he saw the advertisement, which opened with a clip of light shining from a high tower.

It became a “men and brethren, what shall we do?” moment.

The next day one attendee drove an hour and a half from Exeter with a friend. The friend was cut to the heart, and the two decided they must start a kingdom church in the city. A name came to their spirits, the Fellowship of Christ Church, and they pledged their time and resources to start a candlestick in Plymouth.

Six days later, after a 4 AM drive from London, the team commissioned the church, charging its members to meet together and to do the work of the evangelist to the four corners of Plymouth.
