A stranded family at 3 AM
Leaving Kraków before dawn, the team gave their apartment to a mother and two daughters with nowhere to go. Two days later that family opened their home in Zürich.
The bus had arrived hours early, and a woman and her two young daughters stood on a Kraków street at 3 AM looking for somewhere to stay. The team was checking out eight hours ahead of time. The Holy Spirit laid it on their hearts to hand over the apartment, collecting only a phone number so the family could send a photo of the room when they left.
The family was heading to Zürich. So was the team, two days later, with only a hotel booked. In gratitude the woman and her husband invited the missionaries to stay with them, gathered in-laws and relatives, and walked with them through the city into the night as the team ministered about the kingdom and the burden of Christ and His church.
“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews 13:2
